The Isare project was carried out on the initiative of the Fédération Nationale des Observatoires Régionaux de Santé (FNORS) within the framework of the Health Monitoring Programme from European Commission. The first phase, Isare I (1999-2001), made it possible to identify for each country, the most appropriate sub-national level ("health region") for the exchange of health indicators within the European Union and to assess the extent of data availability at these levels. The second phase, Isare II (2002-2004), made it possible to test the feasibility of a collection of regional data in each European country. A database demonstrator, built to illustrate the interest of this work is presented on this website. You can consult the health database according to two modes of interrogation:
