The regional figures show the regional
value for a set of indicators, the region’s rank in its country
and in Europe for each indicator and the national and European extreme
figures. If you have selected a proximity criterion, the database selects the 20 closest regions for the chosen criterion. Then, the summary table also presents, for each indicators of the category, the highest and lowest values observed in these 20 regions.
The database selects the 20 closest regions to the selected region for the selected criterion (for example, the 20 regions having the closest density of population). Then, the summary table also presents, for each indicators of the category, the highest and lowest values observed in these 20 regions
Regions and country names can be seen by moving the mouse over figures. An icon located on the left of each indicator in the result table gives access to a graphical view of the indicators. Two icons located on the right show the figure and the graphic of the 20th closest regions for the selected indicator.
